What We Do.
Medical imaging is a specialized field of medicine that uses sophisticated technology to view internal structures and function of the human body with the purpose of providing a medical diagnosis to physicians and their patients.
Images of the human body are generated by directing a variety of different energy sources into the body, that can not be felt by the patient, and using the returned energy to create images which can then be viewed either on film or on a computer monitor.
Radiology & Imaging offers many diagnostic imaging procedures in a calm and comforting environment. These procedures include, MRI, CT, PET/CT, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Mammography, X-Ray & Fluoroscopy, Interventional Radiology and Bone Density (DEXA).
In this setting, a technologist or radiologist will perform a patient's procedure and then one of our specialty-trained radiologists will interpret the exam and send a report to the patient's physician.
